What $1,000/Month Can Rent You In Belltown

New, 2 comments

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various Seattle neighborhoods. Is one man's studio another man's townhouse? Let's find out! Today's price: approximately $1,000/month in swingin' Belltown.

? Let's start at The Castle Apartments where Unit 409 is available for $950/month. If you want something smack dab in the middle of it all, this is a prime location. And on the fourth floor, you're high enough up to get away from street noise and maybe, just maybe, sneak a view of something nice. The 1918 building has some historic charm, though we're not sure how that translates to livability. We're guessing it's a studio.

? Next we head over to 3016 1st Avenue, where a 432-square-foot 1-BR in The Centerview Apartments is up for $975/month. This 1910-built, four-story building puts you closer to Denny Way and Seattle Center. It's also the second-straight selection that doesn't offer up images of the actual apartment. Hmm...

? Checking in at $999/month (save that extra dollar for a soda) is the 400 square-foot studio at 2619 5th Avenue, a.k.a. Edwards On Fifth. From what we can gather in generic photos (again, very coy with the interior shots), you'll get wood floors and a decent kitchen space. Looks like a good spot for low maintenance folks.

? Finally, we head to Moda where they've got an "A4" apartment for $1,005. Be warned, you're talking about a 275 square-foot spot, so, maybe you want to consider not owning a pet for a little while longer.
