$535K in Seattle will usually get you a 2/3-BR home in Queen Anne or North Seattle. Nothing to sneeze at, for sure. But venture out to Kenmore and all of a sudden $535K buys you a 5,430 square-foot, 5-BR estate home. Sure, this 1985-built home has a lot of features that seem to have survived from that era (Hi, dining room mirror wall!), but there also light-filled solariums and what looks like an indoor garden/meditation room. Someone who wants a lot of space and wants to have some money leftover to personalize said space might find something to work with here.
