First-Look At The Completely Refurbished Sundance Seattle Cinemas

New, 1 comment

We told you back in March that the old Metro 10 Cinema in University District was about to be transformed into a Sundance Cinemas Seattle. Well, that process is just about done and we got a chance to tour the new-fangled digs.

The completely-renovated space now includes a full bar, a Bistro serving easy-to-eat-at-your-seat food, all new seats, screens, projection and sound, reserved seats with "Print At Home" ticketing, 21 and Over only admittance and $2 validated parking after 5 p.m. The cinema also plans to have an art gallery near the lounge area that will rotate every three months and feature Seattle artists.

Sundance Seattle Cinemas is the fifth location for Sundance Cinemas in the nation and will feature specialized film programming, including the best independent and foreign language film while avoiding TV advertisements.

The cinema will open its doors Friday, July 19th. For more on the cinema, check out their website.
