Urban Visions Has New Vision For Downtown's Columbia Building

The Columbia Building at 1516 Second Ave. is probably best-known as the former home of Amazon.com. Urban Visions is looking to change that with an $11.75M purchase of the building and adjacent parking lot.

Urban Visions, which also owns two other Pike Place Market-area properties, already has Elysian Brewery and Cherry Street Coffee lined up as new tenants for the 50,350 square-foot space. Per PSBJ, the plan is to paint the building red, add flower baskets and rechristen it as The Chromer Building.
