The Battle Of The 5-BRs: Queen Anne vs. Magnolia

New, 3 comments

Here's the deal. You've got $2M to spend on your new home. It's you, your spouse/partner and your four kids. You want to stay on the west side of Seattle close to schools, sandwich shops and Starbucks. What we're saying is, which 5-BR would you choose, the one in Queen Anne or the one in Magnolia?

We start at 2022 Taylor Ave. in Queen Anne where The Taylor is situated on the east ridge overlooking Lake Union, Gas Works Park and the skyline. Technically-speaking, the building contains three separate living quarters, one per floor. But a simple remodel can combine them all, bringing together three levels and 4,700 square-feet of charming features and fantastic views.

Now we head to 2644 39th Ave W in Magnolia where a 5-BR inspired by classic New Orleans architecture resides. Inside you'll find a chef's kitchen, home office, two master suites with jetted tub and walk-in closet, two fireplaces, tennis court, putting green, mother-in-law suite and space to add a wine cellar or game room.

So, which 5-BR house are you buying?
