Seven-Story Northgate Mixed-Use Project Gets Rezoning Approval

Wallace Properties began building a 266-unit apartment and retail project in the Northgate area in April. That was before they had received any assurances from the Seattle City Council's land-use committee that the area would be rezoned to allow for a 70-foot, seven-story complex. Lucky for them, their gamble paid off, the rezone received preliminary approval and they can keep moving forward. Considering they've already signed Total Wine & More on as the anchor tenant in a 25K square-foot retail space downstairs, that's good news.
