Adventures In Rezoning

Monday, the Seattle City Council voted unanimously to build the Capitol Hill Light Rail Station as developers wanted. The station will be built up to 85 feet tall and in exchange, the design will include affordable housing and a plaza that will be used as a permanent site for the Capitol Hill Farmers Market. The area had been zoned for buildings up to 40 feet tall before the arrangement was made. [KOMO]
