The brand new 202 Westlake office building, which will be home to (who else) Amazon.com, just sold for $97.4M. That's a lot but that's not the record. The record is that the 130,000 square-foot building sold for $749 per square foot, beating out the previous city record of $642 per. GLL Westlake 202 LLC purchased the six-story building from the group that developed it. Given the tenant and the location, still seems like a solid investment.
