It's time to give Seattle back it's R. For 50 years, a big red neon R greeted cars as they drove past the Rainier Brewery off Interstate 5. In 2000, it was replaced by a giant T for Tully's. As part of their bankruptcy deal, Tully's is taking the T down and a replica R is going back up in its place. Got all that? The original R will remain at MOHAI. Meanwhile, Tully's is moving their HQ out of the building to offices on Western Avenue. [Seattle Times] Photo: Wonderlane
