Laconia Revives 38-Story Icon Tower Plans At 6th & Wall

Original renderings for 'Icon Tower' in 2007

Back in 2007 when the market took a nosedive, Laconia Development seemed to shelve their plans for a residential tower at Sixth & Wall. Now, it looks like they've decided to give it a go once again. According to an Early Design Guidance application, Laconia is proposing a thirty-eight story building with 310 residential units, 1,800 square-feet of commercial space and 312 underground parking spaces. That's a tad bigger than the original plan (32 stories), so expect new renderings and details to be different than before.
