The redevelopment of Yesler Terrace is officially underway. The Seattle Housing Authority broke ground on the project Thursday, kicking off the first phase of a project that will take 10-15 years to complete. Some of the projects and additions to the community will include renovating or adding low-income housing buildings, refurbishing of the Steam Plant building and a new health clinic at Bailey Gatzert Elementary School.
