New Core Development and Workshop AD will be presenting early designs to the city on Monday, January 27 for their mixed-use development 'Aurora 77' at the eastern edge of Aurora Avenue North and the south edge of North 77th Street.
With a mix of street level commercial spaces and thirty-three residential units sharing access to a communal courtyard,the project strengthens the neighborhood by becoming a transition between the vehicle centric Aurora corridor and the surrounding single family areas. Specific plans call for a four-story building with one level of below-grade parking for 18 cars. Anticipated gross square footage is approximately 39K, 3,645 of that to be commercial. Living units will range from studio to 2-BR with the possibility of live-work spaces as well.
