Feel good about the rates you're paying for utilities? Well don't get used to it. Seattle Public Utilities wants to raise residential garbage, water, sewer and stormwater collection rates by 30% over the next six years. That means the average household utility bill will be going from $325 in 2015 all the way up to $422 by 2020, roughly $16/year. Better start skipping a few weekly lattes, you guys.
