Denny Triangle On Its Way To Becoming Bezos Triangle

Amazon, which already owns or leases over five million square feet of office space in Seattle, just added more. The online retailer purchased the block between Bell & Blanchard streets and Seventh & Eighth avenues for just over $52.2M. That area is currently home to a Cornish College of the Arts residence hall, Hurricane Café, Budget Car Rental and multiple parking lots. Amazon owns the three blocks directly south of this one and has the right of first refusal on a big chunk of land between Bell & Blanchard and Sixth & Seventh avenues. And this doesn't include their massive 3.3M square-foot campus currently underway.
