Issaquah, Washington Ferries Among Name-Changers For Seahawks

Photo: compdude787

When is Issaquah not Issaquah? When it's 12SAQUAH. Yes, in honor of the Seattle Seahawks and The 12th Man, the Seattle suburb will officially change the its name to 12SAQUAH on Super Bowl Sunday. We're still trying to figure out the correct pronunciation ("Twelve-se-qwa?") before we can even consider similar changes in the area. 12vue? 12coma? 12attle?

Meanwhile if you hop aboard a Washington State Ferry this weekend, don't be too surprised to find yourself standing on Russell Wilson. Governor Jay Inslee has asked the vessels to change their names in honor of Seattle Seahawks players, and so they are.
