What $2,250/Month Can Rent You in Seattle Right Now

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour Seattle's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. Since we just learned that the median rent for a 2-BR around town is $2,251/month, we're looking at just that. You tell us which lease you'd sign.


We start at Dexter Lake Union where 999 sq. ft. Unit 22CB is available for $2,256/mo. The South Lake Union luxury apartment complex includes a fitness center, business center, bike storage and multiple roof decks to enjoy the view.


Over to Wallingford where this 855 sq. ft. 2-BR at the Pacific Apartments is going for $2,250/mo. While the unit itself is pretty spartan, it does come with an outside deck, parking space and a great location just off of Portage Bay.


Next up we head down to High Point where you can get a 1,720 sq. ft. 2-BR townhome for $2,250/mo. The home includes a parking garage, fireplace, hardwoods and your very own lawn. You're not gonna get that downtown...


Now we go to Queen Anne where you can get a 1,001 sq. ft. 2-BR at Cascade Terrace for $2,200/mo. Fully-equipped with energy-efficient kitchen appliances, spacious living areas, Berber carpeting and roomy patios & balcony spaces. The building features a sun deck, fitness center and billiards room.


Finally we end up in U-District where you can get a 1,011 sq. ft. 2-BR at Duncan Place for $2,300/mo. The building features a modern lobby, common room & scenic views from the rooftop terrace. Inside the unit, modern galley kitchen with slab granite counters, custom tile backsplash and stainless steel appliances.
