Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour Seattle's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. This week we look at rentals for $700/mo. You tell us which lease you'd sign.
↑ We begin in Greenwood where you can get a 225 sq. ft. studio in CUBIX for $725/mo. This micro studio unit includes a private bathroom, kitchenette, large mirrored closet, fridge, microwave, quartz counters, pantry and cabinet storage. All utilities provided including high speed internet. If you're interested in off-street parking, add $50 to the rate. Only one occupant allowed, though that's probably for the best.
↑ Next, we go to Capitol Hill where there's a 116 sq. ft. "ultra efficient studio" in Towne for $725/mo. The unit contains a 3/4 bath, kitchen and space for an elevated bed as well as newer laminate flooring and custom paint. Those looking to live in Capitol Hill without concern over personal space might find a good deal here.
↑ Next, it's on to Madison Valley where we found a 230 sq. ft. aPodment in Videré for $735/mo. The building includes open kitchens located on the main floors along with center courtyards, a laundry facility, storage and parking. Utilities and Internet included. Hope you don't role around too much in your sleep, though...
↑ We now head to U District where this studio is listed for $750/mo. The photos are bit blurry but we can see hardwood floors, big open windows, an inset closet and a newly remodeled bathroom. Rent doesn't include utilities unlike some of the other options, good to keep in mind.
↑ Finally, we end up in the International District where there's a 398 sq. ft. studio in Alps Apartments for $745/mo. Each unit here comes equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, bathroom and stove. You can add on garage parking for $170 a month and note that utilities aren't included. And is it us or is the toilet in a closet?
