Real estate development firm REVOLVE announced milestones for two of their upcoming Seattle projects today. Up first, Yardhouse, a 35-unit apartment project located at 1406 East Republican St. in Capitol Hill which is now slated to open this December. Inspired by the shared courtyard design of 20's and 30's apartments, Yardhouse features six units that open directly into a 1,600 sq. ft. landscaped interior courtyard, as well as two brownstone-style walk-up entryways along 14th Avenue. Meeting LEED for Homes Silver standards, features include adjustable cedar-and-steel solar shades, low-VOC paints/adhesives, low-flow plumbing fixtures, LED lighting in common areas, drought-tolerant plantings and a dedicated parking stall for low-emitting vehicles. Rents will range from $1,575—$2,200, with 20% of units dedicated for households making 80% of the median income, which range from $1,004—$1,323.
Meanwhile in Squire Park, REVOLVE has plans to break ground on 1315 Jefferson, a 32-unit mixed-use infill project, by the end of 2014. The four-story structure will have a mix of studio and 1-BR homes, 3,600 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 16 below-grade parking spaces. Units will include luxury vinyl plank flooring, Broadloom carpet, carpet tile, LED light fixtures, reclaimed wood paneling and polished concrete. We first heard about the project back in December 2013.
