If Stadium East is ever built, it will bring with it one million-square-feet of office and retail space as well as 1,000 underground parking stalls to the point where I-90 meets Airport Way South. The project, which would be built just East of CenturyLink and Safeco fields (hence, the name), has been in the works for roughly a decade from Urban Visions. The developer and architect NBBJ released an updated rendering of the project last week, showcasing their seven-building design (which could also be as small as five buildings). They're still waiting on the city to sign off but they also won't begin construction until it receives a number of pre-leases.
