Mixed-User Bryant Heights Keeping Environment in Mind

Johnston Architects will present their plans for mixed-use complex Bryant Heights to the design review board for recommendation on December 1. The 165K sq. ft. building at 3300 NE 65th St. brings with it a community of 14 houses, 39 town homes, 28 condos, 8 live work units, and 6,500 sq. ft. of commercial space. Despite the development, multiple existing trees, including a cluster of Doug Fir trees, were incorporated into the interior courtyard as well as the exterior landscape design by Fazio Associates. Even the rooftop areas have been flooded with greenery, from bamboo to lavender plants. A lot of work went into making sure the new development integrated not just the neighborhood but also the environment itself.
