CAPITOL HILL -- Whole Foods announced plans for its ninth Puget Sound store, which will be part of Columbia Pacific Advisors' new 16-story, mixed-use development at 1001 Broadway. The 40K sq. ft. health food store will serve as the retail base for the project, with approximately 300 apartments featured above the store. An early permit with the city calls for 337 parking spaces. [DJC]
