You may know Kent Stowell and Francia Russell as the artistic directors of the Pacific Northwest Ballet. You know, as in the ones doing their final production of The Nutcracker that they designed with Maurice Sendak. Or, perhaps, you simply know them as the parents of Ethan Stowell, chef and owner of Anchovies & Olives, Bar Cotto, mkt. and six other Seattle-area restaurants. However you know them (or don't know them), get to know their Roanoke Park 5-BR in North Capitol Hill, which is currently for sale asking $950K. The family bought the house in 1978 for $99,500, so that's quite the profit. The home features tall ceilings, an expansive kitchen with eating nook and sitting area and a lower-level guest suite with second kitchen. It might be worth it just so you can say you cook in the same kitchen little Ethan first learned in. As for Kent and Francia, perhaps they'll be spending more time in their modern Whidbey Island house.
