Gardens Studios and B+H Architects are presenting plans to the design review board on Wednesday for their upcoming project at 1517 Bellevue Ave called Crosby Capitol Hill. The six-story, mixed-use building located within the Pike/Pine Corridor will include approximately 50 units, a mixture of apartments and live/work units. Roughly 700 sq. ft. of retail and 1,700 sq. ft. of live/work will run along the pedestrian path nestled between the active Pine and Pike corridors. On-site parking will not be provided as the complex hopes to encourage occupants to lead carbon-friendly lifestyle. Expect unit amenities to reflect that as well. As for the architectural character of Crosby Capitol Hill, it will be contemporary but reflect the vintage motifs of the bygone Auto Row days.
