Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour Seattle's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. This week we look at rentals for $1,500/mo. specifically in West Seattle. You tell us which lease you'd sign.
↑ We start at Westhaven Apartments in South Delridge where you can get a 900 sq. ft. 2-BR unit for $1,450/mo. The complex, which is surrounded by seven acres of manicured lawns, offers an outdoor pool and exercise room amongst its many amenities. Pets are allowed and there's laundry in-unit as well.
↑ Next up it's on to The Junction where you can get a 505 sq. ft. studio apartment in Oregon 42 for $1,475.mo. While small, the unit is pretty sleek and modern. Despite it's status as a studio, you do get a sliding divider for the sleeping area as well as a full kitchenette.
↑ Up next, a 1-BR unit in The Nelsonian at 4403 SW Admiral Way in North Admiral. For $1,495/mo., you're looking at what would be described as a vintage apartment, complete with radiator and wooden kitchen cabinet spaces. The location, practically at the junction of Admiral and California, is a big selling point. There's also a month-free deal if you call before December 15.
↑ Staying in Admiral, here's an updated 1-BR in a red brick classic building at 4201 SW Spokane St. asking $1,495/mo. Lots of old world charm plus you're located just off California and close to all of the major West Seattle arteries.
↑ Finally we go to Alki where a 900 sq. ft. 2-BR is available at
6014 SW Stevens St. for $1,495/mo. This second-floor unit comes with new carpeting, washer & dryer, fireplace, dishwasher and parking for one car. Sorry, no pets, and photos are a little hard to come by as well so you'll have to see for yourself. If you want to be close to the water, then you'll really want to take that look.
