Watching the Arboretum From a 98-Year-Old Craftsman

New, 1 comment

In less than two years this house celebrates its centennial. Back then the view was of trees; but now they call it The Arboretum. If anyone was playing football, it wasn't in something as grandiose as Husky Stadium, but you can see that from here too. Of course, for $1,095,000 the house better be worth a look as well, and it is. This 1916 craftsman has 3,030 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 3 baths on a 4,643 square foot lot. The sweet parts are the leaded glass, fireplace, built-in cabinetry, sunroom, den, and a kitchen that's modern and also fits the style of the house. Underneath the polish, something really useful - workbenches in a small shop.
