One of the World's Ten Best Living Rooms Lives in Bellevue

New, 1 comment

Call it The Pavilion House. Call it The Lake Washington Shores Art House. You can haggle over the name of this 6,800 sq. ft Bellevue home, but what's not up for debate is the home's visual appeal. Designed by Jim Olson of Olson Kundig, the home boasts an interior design by Garret Cord Werner as well as lighting design by Brian Hood that altogether makes for a spacious living and entertaining space unlike very few in the region. In fact, it was recently chosen as one of the world's top 10 living rooms in an Architectural Digest competition. It ended up coming in 9th overall, but, still, that's some pretty elite company. Speaking of company, there's plenty of room for them at that 35-foot dining table in the middle of the house. That probably made for a helluva Thanksgiving spread.
