75 Units Pre-Sold At Insignia, Capitol Hill Cohousing Project Breaking Ground

DENNY TRIANGLE—When completed, the two-tower, 41-story Insignia complex at 2301 Sixth Ave. will include 707 units. At least 75 of them are officially accounted for per PSBJ, which reports over 75 units have been pre sold, twenty of which came in 2014. [PSBJ]

CAPITOL HILL—An an urban cohousing project that would be the first of its kind in Seattle is set to break ground on 12th Avenue in Capitol Hill. The community will include nine units and construction is expected to take about a year. [CHS]

CENTRAL DISTRICT—The Madrona Company is replacing the long-empty lot & two-story building at 1141 MLK Jr. Way & Union St. with a four-story, mixed-use building with 50 residential units, 7,500 sq. ft. of commercial space and 25 parking spaces below-ground. They'll take part in an early design guidance meeting on February 26. [CDN]
