This week's top hits from Eater Seattle, Curbed's sibling bar, restaurant, and nightlife blog.
CAPITOL HILL— Eater caught up with Kedai Mekan owners Kevin Burzell and Alysson Wilson one year after their Malaysian spot moved into a bustling Olive Way brick-and-mortar. "I would love a real wok. We've done really well with what we have. But if we just have a semi-equipped kitchen I think it could be phenomenal." The couple talk about a three week trip with kitchen crew to Malaysia and making it work in their (very) small space.
PIONEER SQUARE— Marination owners Kamala Saxton and Roz Edison announced plans to launch Good Bar in Pioneer Square this summer. The new menu from Marination alum Josh Kelly will be a departure from the Korean/Hawaiian fusion food Marination is known for, with items priced at $3, $6, $9, and $12. Eater has the details.
CAPITOL HILL— Nacho Borracho started serving slushy cocktails and totchos (yep, that means tater tot nachos) on Broadway. Eater posted a set of interior shots of the new Mexican restaurant from proprietresses Kate Opatz and Rachel Marshall.
