Port Townsend's Manresa Castle Royally Yours For $3.4M

Originally built by Charles Eisenbeis in 1892 as a residence influenced by the Prussian castles of his homeland, the castle at 651 Cleveland St. has also spent time as a Jesuit training college and, since 1968, a 41-room hotel. Now, Manresa Castle, perched on Castle Hill overlooking Port Townsend Bay and the Cascade Mountains, is for sale, asking $3,4M. The new owner can either keep the place running as a hotel, even expanding the complex up to 15K square-feet, or they can start the next chapter in the history of ones of Western Washington's "royal" abodes.
