By all accounts, Seattle's Pilot Parklet Program has been a real success so far. The three small-scale public spaces spread through Capitol Hill, Belltown and ID have brought some vibrancy with them and Seattle wants to see more of it. Things have gone so well that Seattle is extending the Pilot Parklet Program and is now inviting businesses and community groups to apply to host a future parklet. Five new locations will be selected for design, permitting, and construction in 2014. Interested in getting involved? You've got until Feb. 28 to submit an application. In the meantime, where would you like to see a parklet pop up next?
