Belltown Building Doubles In Value, Capitol Hill Cohousing Complex Looking For Approval

BELLTOWN—Back in 20102, Ethos Property Group bought the 22-unit Adams Building at 304 Bell St. for $2.7M. This week, they sold it to Hong Kong buyers for just over $5.3M. Building improvements and the impending Amazon campus three blocks away seem to have moved the price up substantially. [PSBJ]

U-DISTRICT—The first-ever University District greenway is taking shape as the city announced it's close to completing the design. Located along 12th Ave NE, the greenway will go from the Burke-Gilman Trail to Ravenna Boulevard and include a much-needed stoplight at the corner of NE 50th St. [SBB]

CAPITOL HILL—The urban cohousing project at 1720 E Denny Way is going before the design review board tonight for what might be final approval. The proposed project is "a five-story, mixed-use apartment building with 9 dwelling units over a street level commercial space." The plan does not call for any parking. [CHS]
