This week's top hits from Eater Seattle, Curbed's sibling bar, restaurant, and nightlife blog.
SEATTLE— Eater kicked off Pizza Week 2014 with a map of ten iconic Seattle pizzerias that have been serving pies for between five and 60 years. See who made the list.
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT— A 6,000-square-foot barbecue spot is headed for Airport Way this summer. After testing out the idea with several pop-ups, Jack Timmons is opening Jack's BBQ in the former Bogart's space this June or July. In addition to sides like "Texas caviar" and vinegar pie, the restaurant will smoke its meat on-site in an enormous 3,500-pound, 21-foot-long smoker.
BALLARD— Eater sent photographer Suzi Pratt to always-packed pizzeria Delancey on a recent Friday night, where she found owners Brandon Pettit and Orangette's Molly Wizenberg with the couple's daughter. Check out the pictures.
