[Photo: Tom Wright] AMLI has a new residence coming to South Lake Union. Phase one of a two-tower, LEED Silver-hopeful construction is expected to be completed by the end of April, with residents able to start moving in by May 8.
Apartments vary from studio, 1-BR and 2-BR. The 2-BRs offer just under 1,000 sq ft of space. The top floor offers 13-foot ceilings, large windows, gas upgrade, soaking style tub, and different options for floor style to accommodate any style of furniture you might be bringing with you. The Southwest corner apartments are in a unique position to take in the Seattle skyline, Space Needle, and Mt. Rainier when the day is just right.
The rooftop area has some interesting offerings, in what AMLI hopes will encourage a more social atmosphere amongst the residents. There will be table tennis, outdoor movie screenings and a covered deck to soak in views of Lake Union. If you're bringing a dog along, they've got them covered too, with off-leash areas and pet washing stations. With a walk score of 94, you won't feel stuck either, plenty of options to go out all over SLU.
Speaking of Table Tennis, AMLI will be putting on a tournament hosted at Paddy Coyne's starting around June 12 and completing at the AMLI rooftop tables.
The second building, where a mammoth tusk was recently found, is in the early stages of construction and expected to be completed sometime in 2015.
