Macklemore Mate Ryan Lewis Buys Magnolia Home For $3.3M

Ryan Lewis, a.k.a. The other guy making all those Grammy Award-winning hits with Macklemore, is the proud new owner of a 4-BR, 3.75-bath Magnolia home, which he purchased in January for $3.3M. The 1995-built, palatial home spans 7,610 square feet and sits on just under one acre of land.

The home was previously owned by Ronald Elgin, the former CEO of DDB Seattle Inc. In 2005, the home listed for $8.9M, showing just how much has changed in the market since then.

Redfin Agent Jayson Haile toured the home and had this to say:

This palatial home overlooking the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains immediately evokes a feeling of an old Italian mansion. There are mini-kitchens in the living rooms upstairs and in the basement, perfect for entertaining on any level. The home is newer construction and fully "wired" with tall ceilings on every level. Three aligned closets allow for the possibility of an elevator installation.Between Macklemore's recent Capitol Hill home purchase and this, it looks like the duo was right. We can't stop them. At least, not from buying real estate...
