Are Seattle rents rising as much as we've been told? Well, not really, according to Dupre+Scott. Turns out that the glut of new, expensive apartments "in the $1,300 to $2,000 range" are driving up the average while normal rents have risen more slowly than operating costs to manage the buildings.
