SEATAC—The Sub Pop Records store in Sea-Tac Airport has officially opened. Located near the entrance to Concourse C, the store will feature vinyl records, T-shirts and a listening station with cuts from bands such as Nirvana, Soundgarden and Death Cab for Cutie, as well as non-Seattle artists. TACOMA—The Apex Apartments at 2424 S 41st St. sold recently for $26.2M. Built in 2008, the property is now under the ownership of Kennedy-Wilson Holdings Inc., which owns 4,322 apartment units in the Pacific Northwest. Apex Apartments consists of a mix of studios and one- and two-BR units averaging 886 square feet. [PSBJ]
CAPITOL HILL—Goodwill Capitol Hill opens its doors this Friday at 9am but CHS got a chance to check out the 24th Goodwill Seattle location early. The new 15K square-foot store will open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring the mayor, giveaways and a DJ dance party starting at 4pm. [CHS]
