Up until now, tourists stopping through on a layover in SeaTac have been unable to partake in the Seattle experience. From now on, they'll have a chance to get a small taste, or at least a listen, of what the local scene has to offer. The Sub Pop Record Store opened in Sea-Tac Airport's Concourse C last week and offers anyone the chance to pursue music and merchandise that is very distinctly Pacific Northwest. Along with music for sale, the store also offers the chance to watch music videos, listen to recordings from over 160 Northwest artists and purchase exclusive Sub Pop merchandise. Open from 6am to 10pm, feel free to stop by the next time you're waiting for a flight out of town or curious to hear how Seattle sounds to the rest of the world.
