Bellevue Collection Expansion, Denny Triangle Hotel Planned

BELLEVUE— Big changes are coming to downtown Bellevue. Kemper Development's expansion of Bellevue Collection is moving forward thanks to the addition of an equity partner. The 2 million-square-foot expansion will add 400K sq. ft. of retail, restaurant and entertainment space; 700K sq. ft. of office space; 500 apartments and two hotels. [PSBJ]

DENNY TRIANGLE— Seven years ago, GIS International Group proposed a 25-story hotel/condo project on the corner of Stewart Street and Minor Avenue. Now they're calling for a 42-story hotel and residential tower that would include 78 hotel rooms, 95 residential units, 9,500 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space and 150 underground parking stalls. {PSBJ]

SOUTH LAKE UNION— A Holland Partner Group subsidiary closed the deal on a 1.5-acre site between Dexter & Eighth avenues North and Valley & Aloha streets for $19M. They plan to develop a 360-apartment project with a planned start date of 2015. {PSBJ]
