TACOMA— Pierce County wants to build an office campus on the site of the former Puget Sound Hospital in Tacoma and they want Wright Runstad & Co. to do it. The project, estimated at "a little bit south of $80 million," will be between 225K - 300K square-feet and designed as a home for county departments and nonprofits. [PSBJ]

PIONEER SQUAREUrban Visions has applied for permission to build 200 Occidental, a seven-story office building with 155K square feet of office space, underground parking and 15K square feet of ground floor retail. They hope to pre-lease space in the project before beginning construction on the building, which will replace a parking lot just off of Occidental Square. [PSBJ]

LIGHT RAIL— As more light rail stations in North and South Seattle open in the coming years, PSBJ thinks you can expect to see a boom of development all around them. Apartment complex sales and construction deals are already beginning to emerge and with 26 stations on the horizon, that's a lot of potential for transit-oriented development. [PSBJ]
