Seattle-Area Home Prices Kept On Climbing In March

The latest Case-Shiller numbers are in and it looks like Seattle-area home prices continued to climb through March. The average price of single-family homes in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties rose 1.9% from February to March, while the average price rose 0.6%. That's actually the biggest gain by any major metro area other than San Francisco. Seattle-area home prices are also up 11.6% YOY, though still down 15.7% from the peak of the market in July 2007.
