MacFarlane Partners will be the latest developer to try and cash in on the impending residential boom created by Amazon's expansion with plans for a 25-story tower at 901 Harrison St. That's right in the middle of an area that includes current and future Amazon offices. The plan calls for 328 residential units, five of which will be live/work, as well as 4,717 sq. ft. of retail and below-ground parking for 170 vehicles. The two-story building currently on the lot that is home to City Hardware and Kaufer's Religious Supplies will be demolished. Local firms Ankrom Moisan Architects and Brumbaugh & Associates Landscape Architecture are both working on the project.
