When you think about it, it's kinda surprising no one has named a building in the neighborhood of Roosevelt as 'Eleanor' before now. It was right there for the taking. Mack Urban is one who finally grabbed it. The Seattle developer released designs today for their new seven-story apartment complex at 800 NE 67th that shares its name with the famous first lady. Eleanor will include 260 apartments, "with an emphasis on comfortable one bedrooms and two-bedroom units for couples and families." The complex will also feature 200 below-ground parking stalls, special areas for bikes with kid trailers and jogging baby strollers and a dog washing station. The project will break ground this summer and is anticipated to open in the late spring of 2016.
