Cannabis City Will Be Seattle's First Marijuana Retail Store

New, 2 comments

Of Washington's 334 marijuana license lottery winners, the Washington State Liquor Control Board will issue actual retail licenses to 15-to-20 of them on July 7. One such place that knows its getting one is Cannabis City at Fourth Avenue South and South Lander Street. They'll have 10 pounds of marijuana stocked come Tuesday and they expect to be out of that by the end of the day, selling for $15 to $20 per gram. The SoDo retailer passed state inspection and will be joined by a retail store in Bellevue, another in Des Moines and others around the state. Nine Point Growth Industries in Bremerton is Cannabis City's distributor.

Meanwhile, Central District's Mello Times tells CHS that they may not open until August as they're still growing (pun intended) their retail operation.
