Where to Eat With Out-of-Towners; A Guide to Seattle's Best Salads

HOT HOT HEAT— If you have guests in town this weekend and need suggestions for where to grab dinner or drinks, you're in luck: Eater just published July's Heatmap, filled with picks from across town for dining and imbibing. This month, two new members join the club.

LEAFY GREENS— It's hot outside, at least by Seattle's standards, which means salad season has officially started. Eater has a map of some of the city's best bowls of greens, from Green Leaf's colorful papaya salad to Juicebox's farm-fresh Crunch salad. Right this way for more picks.

THE SHUTTER— In sad news, one of the earliest members of Seattle's specialty pie shop scene announced that it is serving its last slice next month. West Seattle's nine-year-old Shoofly will shutter Sunday, August 17.
