Description: This was a first home for a young family who wanted to live a more family-focused lifestyle inside a house that maintained the original 1920's charm but offered improved functionality and sustainable livability. Contractor Model Remodel worked closely with the clients, AIA architect Carol Sundstrom, Pete's Cabinet Shop and Seattle Tile to create the final product. Here in the kitchen, additions included bronze cabinet pulls, crystal knobs, vintage light fixtures, and Shaker-style cabinets. The kitchen is now more functional but it still gives a nod to the past.
