BOTHELL—McMenamins' long-gestating hotel/resort project will finally break ground this fall. The $25M project will replace Bothell's old, art-deco-style Anderson School with a hotel, restaurant, bars, brewery, theater and a tropical pool area. They expect the resort to be completed and open by the end of 2015. [ST]
ISSAQUAH—Vulcan Real Estate announced Monday it has leased 176K sq. ft. of office space to Costco at Sammamish Park Place. SPP is a three-building office complex totaling 586K sq.-ft. Microsoft occupies the other two buildings. [Vulcan]
REDMOND—Minneapolis-based hotel developer CSM paid $7.8M for a development site in Esterra Park that they plan to turn into a hotel. The 28-acre mixed-use project under construction in Redmond is close to Microsoft's campus as well as a future light rail station. [PSBJ]
