As part of design firm Mallet, owner & designer Eric Hentz has had a hand in the look & feel of ACE hotel, Zeitgeist Coffee and many other Seattle spots. The stark, modern look of so many other designs has been distilled into the 607 sq. ft. Unit 407 in downtown's Colonial Grand Pacific, which just hit the market asking $250K (+ $435 in HOA fees). Dark interiors get their spirits lifted by oversized windows and exposed brick. The raised sleeping platform and kitchen both take advantage of shelving as walls, making this much more the space for those who prefer openness. Or at the very least encourage you to fill those shelves with accessories. Not what you might expect to find in a 1902 building, but, that's the point.
