Hotel prices might be through the roof this weekend but that's not going to slow down tourists from visiting Seattle. Whether they're coming from other U.S. cities or, China or elsewhere, tourists continue to visit us, take photos of our skyline, marvel at our views, climb our Space Needles and ride our monorail (someones got to...). It wasn't long ago that the only way to really know what Seattle looked like was to actually visit it or by receiving a postcard from someone who had. Here now are 47 vintage postcards from the earliest decades of the 20th century that offer a glimpse into the architecture and daily life of Seattle's past.
