New, 1 comment

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, where we scour Seattle's rental listings to see what your monthly budget will get you across the city. This week, we're investigating apartments listed for $1,300/month. You tell us which lease you'd sign.

We start in North Seattle's Pinehurst neighborhood where you can get this 700-sq.-ft. 1BR at Park Place for $1,295/mo. The newly-remodeled space includes updated fixtures, new bathroom and a new kitchen outfitted with slab granite, tile floor, and stainless appliances. Rent doesn't include $25/mo. for parking.

More interested in location than apartment size? How about a studio at Joseph Arnold Lofts for $1,295/mo.? Building amenities such as an indoor bike rack and rooftop deck make life livable in spite of the snug quarters here in Belltown.

Heading over to North Delridge we find a 430-sq.-ft. studio in Vue Apartments for $1,295/mo. Once again you're trading personal space for amenities, not to mention Vue is next to a 68-acre nature preserve, golf course and not far from a bevy of restaurants, shops and beaches.

Next up we head over to Madison Park where a 650-sq.ft- 1BR is available for #1,300/mo at Edgewater Condos. Those looking for a classic and quieter lifestyle might look out this way. Community amenities include a lake-side seasonal pool as well as decks and patios all overlooking Lake Washington.

Finally we end in Capitol Hill where Mode Condominiums offers a 450-sq-ft- 1BR for $1,300/mo. The unit feat stainless steel appliances, Brazilian hardwood floors, modern bathroom fixtures and designer lighting. There's also a 150 sq. ft. private patio and washer/dryer in the unit.
