Sugar Mountain Renovating Denny Triangle Building, Martin Selig Planning Queen Anne Complex

DENNY TRIANGLE— Sugar Mountain, the parent company behind Beecher's and the Maximus/Minimus food truck, has hired Mallet Construction to renovate a building at 2121 Westlake Ave. Formerly an office building & auto shop, they're adding two floors to the structure, bringing the total to approx. 27K sq. ft. The food company bought the property in 2012 for $4.4M. [DJC]

DOWNTOWN— Nuance Communications is doubling-down on the amount of office space it occupies in the Exchange Building. The 12K employee company just leased three more floors in the 22-story building, now giving them 82K square feet of space overall. [PSBJ]

QUEEN ANNE— Real estate developer Martin Selig is ready to get started on a six-story office building project at 220 W. Harrison St. in Uptown, via PSBJ. He'll find out if the city gives him the go-ahead on the 185K-square-foot project after a Wednesday design review meeting. [PSBJ]
